Zack Hernandez

At ThriveHI Zack provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure ThriveHI meets its mission of modernizing Hawaii’s economy. Leveraging his extensive experience in building elite technology and executive teams, he focuses on creating high-paying, modern jobs and bringing Kama'aina back home to Hawaii. He works closely with partners across the ecosystem to fuel the state's tech growth with both talent and capital.

Outside of ThriveHI Zack is the Founder and CEO of AEP Hawaii, a premier tech & executive recruiting firm that bridges the gap for the next generation of local talent.

A graduate of Columbia University, where he served as a Division 1 Wrestling Team Captain, he brings a competitive and disciplined approach to his work in economic development. Beyond his professional pursuits, Zack remains active in the community as a mentor for Blue Startups and as an owner and coach at AEP Wrestling.
